The washing of the olives is necessary to clean the raw material, that is the olives, and remove all impurities present. This step, if well performed, allows to maintain unaltered the organoleptic characteristics of the olives being processed, ensuring an excellent Extra Virgin Olive Oil. The line of washing machines F.lli Ferri is based on a concept of washing simple but effective: the ALFA LAVAL technology is soft enough not to damage the olives during the washing process but at the same time manages to remove any impurities, this ensures that the olives arrive intact to the crusher, ready for the pressing phase.
